Pol'and'Rock Festival in Kostrzyn

The festival was previously known as Woodstock Festival, taking its name from the legendary U.S.A. Woodstock festival. Recently the name was changed to PolAndRock to avoid copyright complications.

Pol'and'Rock is one of the largest FREE music festivals in the world, this Polish festival has been rocking out for twenty-five years. It's one of the most unique events on the European fest calendar and well worth the trip.

The concerts, other activities such as workshops and meetings with influential figures from the world of Polish culture, arts, politics and journalism as well as main campsites are all FREE.

It comes as no surprise that the music and the unforgettable atmosphere of the festival seeped in freedom attracts hundreds of thousands of people to our festival.

The Festival is driven by ideals rather than money. It promotes ideals of love, friendship, and a belief that music should be accessible to all regardless of the depth of their pockets.

The festival showcases some of the best international and legendary music acts from Poland as well as promising new bands from all over the world on five vibrant festival stages. Even though the festival's roots are essentially all heavy metal the line-up includes songs that indie, hip-hop, alternative rock, and reggae lovers would also enjoy the programme.
